Here's The Brief my boss gave me: “Create a promotional video that explains what Stylescapes are, and why they matter. Make it to look like a Masterclass commercial.”
My Contributions
I had worked on creating the actual course so I was very familiar with the concepts. Next, I needed to get familiar with the Masterclass style of making videos.

I watched a bunch of Masterclass promo videos and broke down their structure. I paid special attention to things like lighting, camera framing, the type of music they used and the pacing and swelling of the edit. After doing this, I got a good sense of what it takes to make my Masterclass video look Masterclass.

I was part of a 3 person team. I did the lighting, set design, cinematography, audio recording and editing. Greg Gun was the writer and director. Chris Do was the talent and author of the course.

I learned how to compose a good sales video. I also learned how to break down and replicate a style.
